The origins of the Heldenbergen choir community lie in the Euphrosyne choral society, which was founded in 1839, and the Thalia choral society, which was founded in 1903. Both clubs were later merged into the Heldenbergen cultural and sports community. The Chorgemeinschaft Heldenbergen emerged from the dissolved Kultur- und Sportgemeinschaft Heldenbergen singing department in 1970.
